The Rajah Super Yoga Mat is a very nice mat, ideal for tall people (6ft plus). On shorter mats there was the constant need to be moving myself up or down the mat for my head or heels to be in contact, not with this one. It is also much thicker that your average mat, which again is a plus for taller, and therefor usually more heavy person. Elbows and knees are nicely protected. If you'll be carrying it around be aware that when rolled it will be quite a bit thicker than average, maybe 6 inches or so. Just remind yourself that once you get to class you'll be reaping the benefits. For me the black color works as a kind of neutral, which I like. Less distracting than some other colors tend to be.
