I am over 50, with a history of lifting free weights.I wanted something I could use in the home primarily for maintenance.I am using it 3 to 4 times a week.I considered the cheaper product, but purchased this unit instead, after a more thoughtful look.There are a couple of things I liked over the cheaper units.The way the base of the unit contacts the floor, makes it very stable.I do not use a lot of heavy weight, but the unit is very quiet. The seat swivels out of the way, making it easy to move from a pull down movement to a seated row.
Actually, I cannot understand how they can offer and build a unit this well made for the price.I am very pleased so far.Bear in mind I have only used it 5 or 6 weeks.
