▷▷▷▷ 2 Oversized Yoga Blocks

This is a no brainer.What is great about this yoga block is its simplicity.It's bigger than most, which right of the bat is a bonus because it allows you to get into poses easier.Another thing about this yoga block that is great is how firm it is.You definitely feel that you are not going to crush it while you lean on it for support.

I wish more companies would make quality, over-sized yoga blocks instead of the standard stuff which are basically cheap imports!This is a GREAT product!

▷▷▷▷ PowerLine PSM144X Smith Machine Review

This is not a good machine if you can lift any substantial amounts of weight. It's a little unstable. The hooks that lock into the holes so you can spot yourself don't always line up very well and that kind of sucks when you've just tired yourself out and you want to rack it but you can't...

Product Description
A true powerhouse that's often imitated but never duplicated, the PowerLine PSM144X Smith Machine combines the sophistication of free weight power and resistance with the safety and control of a machine. The unit is ideal for everything from squats to bench presses to shoulder shrugs, with PowerLine's patented Super-Glide carriage riding smoothly within the four 2-by-2-inch, 12-gauge steel pillars. Once you load on the weights, the bar lifts and lowers in a controlled manner, so you needn't worry about losing your balance during a lift or loading on more weight than you can handle. The machine also offers 14 lockout positions and adjustable safeties to guarantee the lifter's security while helping him or her strive for greater muscle gains. Other details include spotter extensions for when you're working out alone and a scratch- and rust-resistant, powder-coated finish. The Smith Machine measures 76 by 80 by 45 inches (W x H x D) and carries a 10-year warranty on the frame and a one-year warranty on all other parts.

Weight Loss and Power Abs Review

While I was most impressed with Bryan Kest's "Power Yoga Complete Collection" released in 1995, this 2003 release was disappointing in more ways than one:

(1) Bryan Kest: excessive talking and zero personal demonstration;
(2) Little in the way of killer techniques to tweak/improve on standard asanas;
(3) Ultra slow-paced walk through the Vinyasa flow;
(4) The so-called "power yoga" abs routines are but exercises drawn from pilates practice; and
(5) To top it all off, questionable choice of music best described as "elevator".

This 2003 release was a stark contrast compared to the well-choreographed 3-in-1 DVD released in 1995 where Kest personally instructed and demonstrated ashtanga-rooted poses, complete with just the right dose of inspirational messages and cool yoga-inspired music based on traditional Dhrupad raga Bhairavi et al. The 2003 release saw Kest merely paying lip service to simple and uninspiring moves.Yogis who have tried out both routines would not fail to notice Kest's marked weight gain without having serious thought about the 'chicken-and-egg' of it all.The sad truth is that Kest is no longer convincing as a first-rate yoga instructor like he did in the 90s.

For those serious in clinching the best home-use yoga DVD, I would highly recommend combining Bryan Kest's original series (1995) with Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti (2004).These two DVDs are highly motivational and have the effect of eliciting future re-use value. And to each its owns: while Kest's 1995 collection offers the intermediate-beginner substantial aerobics workout from his well structured vinyasa routines, Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti offers a matrix system where viewers can mix and match routines to the tune of their body/moods. Combining the two gives yogis the best of both worlds - strenuous workouts on perky days and less demanding yin yoga routines on "moon" days.

Product Description
This vigorous power yoga routine helps you burn fat through a low impact and dynamic flow yoga practice. Second DVD in the five-title Original Power Yoga series, this DVD offers both Weight Loss and 6-Minute Abs. You're bound to love this combination of titles for a complete routine. With Weight Loss, experience Bryan's unique cardiovascular workout, using the principles of Dynamic Flow. This workout will make you sweat, burn calories and strengthen your heart and lungs. If you want more, follow up with one of the two routines offered on the 6-Minute Abs portion, designed to target the abs, strengthen your body's central support system and aid in the strengthening of your lower back. Enjoy!Run Time: Approx. 70 minutes

▷▷▷▷ Epic T60 Treadmill Review

I've run about 400 miles on mine over the course of a few years, with no serious problems. The tread is made from high quality rubber, the machine is very stable, the 60 inch tread length is great, and it's easy to adjust the tread (left or right a centimeter or so, maybe every 100 miles) with a supplied allen wrench. Here are the minor issues I've encountered:
1. It is very difficult to move. You have to lift about 100 pounds just to roll it in a very limited manner.
2. It doesn't beep anymore (to indicate events like power on, or setting the speed to 10MPH, etc.).
3. The pulse measuring feature doesn't work very well. It measures my pulse too quickly (within 3 seconds), or not at all, and as a result it is not very accurate or consistent.
4. It measures distance incorrectly at the very start-- If I start from rest and click 10MPH, the reported distance increases as if I am going 10MPH immediately, while the actual speed is climbing up to 10MPH over the course of about 15 seconds. In other words, it reports I run a mile in exactly 6 minutes when really the first 15 seconds were at a slower pace.
5. The aluminum panel at the front end of the tread is flimsy. I stepped on it twice while running, almost destroying the panel on one occasion. It is now a bit warped and it almost touches the tread. I've learned to avoid it, which is easy when you have 60 inches to work with.

Product Description
Set and reach your workout goals with the EPIC T60, offering a powerful 3.0 Continuous HP commercial-grade motor, digital quick speed controls up to 12.0 miles per hour, goal setting programmability and is equipped with aluminum deck rails. Now, you can plug in specific workout goals into the treadmill's console (i.e. the calories you want to burn and the time in which you want to burn them) and the console will automatically alter other aspects of your workout (i.e. your speed) to help you reach them. The T60 also comes with full-length Comfort Stride cushioning, a 350 lb. weight capacity and 12 years of warranty coverage on the motor.
