It's basically a pneumatic tube...like a bicycle tire pump. You're supposed to hold it horizontally and either push the pump in, or pull it out...either in front of your chest, or behind your back. In other words, (a) you can do only a couple of exercises with it, (b) you don't get much range of motion so it's not a good workout even for the exercises you can do, (c) it feels like and is as much fun to use as a tire pump. It has some simple electronics that counts your reps and how hard you're pressing. That doesn't make it worth buying. This is not a useful addition to your exercise toolset.
