After my carabiner broke, i had nowhere to attach my car keys, i hate looking through my pockets. After some searching on amazon, i came across this. This is insanely perfect. I wanted a red carabiner with a black gate, but all others sold them with a silver gate, plus this is has SO many other features.Pros:
-The Aluminum is anodized so the color will not fade off or scratch off
-its aluminum
-the knife is stainless steel, its pretty sharp to come with, but i filed it to a razor edge
-when the knife is open, the body of the carabiner provides much needed grip, and im a pretty big guy, 6' and this is nimble in my hands
-the springs and bearings for the opening mechanisms are very high quality, strong gate spring and the bearing creates tension when opening knife (extra security so it wont open on you suddenly)
Cons:
- the gate door opens a little less then regular carabiners and the space is a bit narrower, so if you have wide belt loops, this aint gonna work
- easy to forget you have it on, so be careful when going through security checkpoints
This is such a great buy,for yourself or as a gift, its a precision quality tool that attaches anywhere and is pretty much, no thought about it, 5 stars

Great knife. Decent quality. Only problem I had with it was that the carabiner spring clip didnt close properly. Razor sharp right out of the box.

I am not a serious hiker, climber, or camper, but I love small knives under $20. I love my other Kershaw, and while this one is ok, the carribiner get in the way more than helps. The finger grips make it look like you are supposed to hold the knife around the 'biner, but it would be much easier to hold if your fingers fit through the 'biner. So, while it is cute, it is not great. A better knife on a mini-biner would be a much better solution if you are at all serious about your gear.

first of all when i got my first keys to the house in 1980 I still have them so this is a great way to never lose your keys. secondly kershaw makes great blades and knives. this little knife is so convenient to open boxes even those pesky cd cases and any impossible to open plastic containers. great great great product and is a huge improvement from the last junk plastic one they made the last timeImages Product
