The Story HD can even be read in direct sunlight without washing away the text on the e-ink screen. Now with the Freescale A8 Cortex Chipset CPU (iMX508), the Story HD has one of the fastest page-turning performances available. The eight adjustable text sizes and 16 grayscale levels allow for more natural reading that suits you while putting less strain on your eyes.
Thanks to integration with Google eBooksTM, iriver Story HD lets you choose from more than three million free ebooks and hundreds of thousands of ebooks for sale through a Wi-Fi connection. Signing in to your Google Books account provides immediate access to your Google Books library in the cloud and the option to add many new titles through the Google eBookstore.
The iriver Story HD is compatible with a variety of file formats: EPUB, PDF, ZIP, or TXT. The 2GB internal memory allows up to 1,500 titles of storage and the SD card slot allows for additional storage for books, periodicals and documents.
